“Finally got around to coloring this! I drew the line art for this months ago and I am kind of glad I didn’t color it right away. With my new appreciation for pressure sensitivity I am teaching myself how to color faster. Speed painting is going to be my next challenge to hopefully learn how to work in digital.
I am aware that a lot of this is incorrect in Myrrah’s design as this was my first drawing of her and I drew this prior to collecting numerous references for her design”

The newest to my plushie collection! No he’s not for sale. I would think of only one person that would possibly want to buy him anyways.

Starbuck with a spam sandwich. He looks far too happy about it.
Drew this after I had a dream the other day about Monty Python’s skit about spam.
Anonymous asked: I like your sewing skills, but your 'kimonos' are more like bath robes... please do not say you are sewing kimono if you are not sewing actual kimono. A simple google search makes fantastic reference. Kimono are not bathrobes, sorry. Plus, they're crossed left over right, not right over left. That's how corpses are dressed.
If you’re referring to the cut of the robe then you should note that there is not one defined style. Sleeve styles and lengths changed over different eras. Also social status and the occasion to which the kimono was intended for influenced its style. Bath robes have sleeves that narrow toward the wrist. The one I made does not. As far as how I folded it, it’s folded both ways depending on which photo you’re referring to. I didn’t take note of that till I uploaded them onto my computer so I could list this on Etsy.
Here is another one of my sewing specialties - Kimonos. I usually sew kimonos made of cotton fabrics at they are cooler for the Florida weather. I made this to wear during the Relay for Life event at my high school last year. This is also for sale in my Etsy right here.
If you’re not interested in my kimono you might want to consider helping support the American Cancer Society?
Relay For Life is a life-changing event that helps communities across the globe celebrate the lives of people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against the disease.

My friends and I have a jewelry and henna tattoo booth every year. This year’s event will be held April 20th and 21st. We raise most of our money during this event, but you can donate money prior to this event as well. You can donate to my team if you’d like right here.

“Happy Easter everyone!
I’m going to blame my 9-year-old brother on this one. He came over to my house telling me that he read an Easter book at school. He said the story was about a bunny and his cousin Benjamin. So he said that he imagined the bunny was Ben Carmine. I didn’t want to fight with drawing the CoG Gear helmet, I already hate drawing the chest armor as is. So I drew MyFantasiWorld’s concept of Ben. Somehow this feels completely in character for Ben. I included his pet monkey-dog just because.”

My newest plushie creation is now available for sale in my Etsy shop!
I actually started working on this one a few months ago and I finally finished him. He’s the first and only Harry Potter plush I have made thus far.

The final result of my Corsetry project. This corset ended up being a little too big as I am able to remove it without really needing to untie the laces in the back. Also if you’re able to lace the back closed completely then it is too big. From the side view you can see that the busk is completely straight as well. A well-fitted corset would have a busk that pulls towards the body.
The step-by-step process in how I made this can be seen in my posts -
Deepest apologies to my watchers as I have not updated my progress with my corset in over a month. Though I said I was going to add lace trimmings to this corset I failed to find any decent brown trimmings at the fabric store. The corset doesn’t look so bad without trimmings. I had only anticipated that the different fabrics would have looked strange put together.
So these are the images of the corset with all the boning channels sewn in them, inside and outside views.
